Indie Games You Didn’t Play in 2019

There were a lot of amazing indie games in 2019 that a lot of people didn’t get to play. And that’s a shame because some indie games are so good that they surpass AAA titles. This is why we created a list that includes some really good games that people didn’t get to play in 2019 because they were indie and didn’t have as much marketing.

Forager

Forager is interesting because it combines the action RPG genre with idle-clicker game mechanics to offer something new. The idea here is to mine for stuff and craft items in order to grow your city and establish a powerful economy.

Islanders

Islanders is a minimalist city builder. It has a very simplistic set of graphics, but what really makes it good is the gameplay itself. It’s designed to be fun and exciting, but it also has its fair share of challenges. It includes puzzle features, too, so the title itself is very nice and full of creative ideas for you to explore.

Garden Flipper

Garden Flipper is a sequel to the game House Flipper, which replicated some of the tasks required to fix up and sell house houses for a profit. Except in this game, you are trying to create a garden. The gameplay itself is actually very good, and you will like it because it’s so much fun. Yes, there are still some challenging experiences to be had, but it’s still really interesting and incredibly easy to get into.

Pathologic 2

Pathologic 2 comes with a wonderful horror experience. It can be rather brutal, and the fact that it gets very intense clearly shows this is not for everyone. But if you like or enjoy horror titles, this might very well be the right option for yourself.

My Friend Pedro

No one would expect a side scroller with situations where you jump off walls, flip, and then try to headshot everyone. It’s an intense game with a Hotline Miami vibe, but entirely new and designed to bring you intense game experience. It’s totally worth it if you like great side-scrolling with amazing music.

Amid Evil

Amid Evil has old school visuals, and the idea here is that you get the retro gameplay with some new technologies added to it. This fast-paced gameplay is very good, and a lot of people will like the game because it continues to impress with the entire experience. On top of that, the environments are incredible.

Sunless Skies

Sunless Skies is similar to Sunless Sea, but it manages to come up with a great new gameplay idea. You are exploring the skies, and you try to stay alive in a wonderful and rather bizarre game world. All you need is to give it a try for yourself, and it’s very interesting.

There are tons of amazing indie games that people loved in 2019, but some passed under the radar. You need to try all these games because they are a lot of fun and incredibly enjoyable. Plus, every game is unique, so you will always have new experiences to enjoy!
